Invisible Waves "Chaos and Pleasure" [$5] Invisible Waves delivers a couple of tracks within a short playing time (it's an EP). After a sample, spacey helicopter/aeroplane sounds take over with the odd effect here and there. This theme is expanded on a bit later on giving the whole a bit of a weird fucked up noise soundtrack idea. Gokkun — two Japanese living in Bulgaria dilute the brain with digital noises made of the processed sounds of a guitar, videogames and other stuff. Macedonian Sound 00 on the contrary is extremely minimalistical, silent and calm. Montenegro project Gaad is too complex to describe with words. Eclectic samples, curve sinusoids. Design: the disk is enclosed between two spoiled cd-r (cd, dvd-r), fixed by means of an adhesive tape, a magnetic label-antithief, laconic insert.

There is everything on this CD from rhythmic noise to ambient, from samples to technical experiments. Is a project of the Canadian artist Jim DeJong working under this name since 1994. The Infant Cycle's music has never been notable for tensity or ornateness, instead of this it focuses on the subtle aspects of sounding of separate timbres and their combinations. Instruments: one carved-vinil record groove, record player operational sounds (augmented by violin bow and razor blade). [mp3] [mp3]
"Gma" was recorded in 2002 with the use of voice and software noise synthesizers. If one says that the album's style is called "ambient noise" - is to say almost nothing. The disk has very specific atmosphere: this is a noise meditation, calm and detached from emotional fuss. An intuitive electronic pulse synchronizes with brain frequencies, rising and falling waves of non-aggressive white noise pacify thoughts, and constantly rustling high frequencies when listened to attentively evoke dissotiative sensation, dissolving perception in the sonic field. © Zhelezobeton [mp3] [mp3] [mp3] |
